Your Vote, Your Voice: Spring 2014 Photo Contest

Everyone is voting nowadays. We don't know who first invented the idea of voting, but it was brilliant. We know we would have voted for it! We like to vote because it gives us a voice in a big and opinionated world. And we don't just like to vote on our politicians and legislation. We vote on the smallest dog at the pet show and our favorite breakfast sandwich at a restaurant; we even vote on how we want to vote.

Well, it's that time again to put in your own vote! We want to hear your voice in the contest for student-submitted photos.

Spring Has Sprung

After an unusually chilly winter and an unexpected ice storm, spring has officially arrived on our campus!

And the Winner Is . . .

Once again, it's that time of year. I like to think of it as "competition season." The spring semester at PCC can get very competitive for many students. Elections are held for many offices on campus; collegians, classes, and the student body will dub new presidents, choristers, and chaplains for the upcoming year.

Senior Party

It's been a long but good four years. Well, we might as well celebrate! That's exactly what the seniors had the opportunity to do recently. We all came together in the Sports Center and played games, hung out, and--most importantly--we had some delicious chicken wings. That description barely scratches the surface! Let me immerse you into the experiences we had.

More than a Teacher

During my freshman year, I was in a Principles of Drawing class. This was the first art class I ever took. And, while I thank God for the principles I learned in that class, I thank Him even more so for my teacher. She did a wonderful job, and we all learned so much. I haven't had her as a teacher since, but I stop and talk to her almost every time I pass by her.
