Your Vote, Your Voice: Spring 2014 Photo Contest
Everyone is voting nowadays. We don't know who first invented the idea of voting, but it was brilliant. We know we would have voted for it! We like to vote because it gives us a voice in a big and opinionated world. And we don't just like to vote on our politicians and legislation. We vote on the smallest dog at the pet show and our favorite breakfast sandwich at a restaurant; we even vote on how we want to vote.
Well, it's that time again to put in your own vote! We want to hear your voice in the contest for student-submitted photos.
Our five categories are On-campus Photos, Off-campus Photos, Animal Photos, a brand-new category Sports Photos, and a extra-special just-this-once category: photos of this semester's ice/snow day! With all the beautiful pictures students took of PCC glittering in the unusual winter weather, they deserve their own category!
The winning photo in each group will earn the distinction of “Photo of the Semester.”
Voting will be open until the end of the day on April 28.
Take a look through these final selections of student photos, and be sure to give us YOUR vote!
