Eagles Will Host BJU in "Blue Out" Game This Friday

On Friday night (Feb. 22) at the Sports Arena, Pensacola's Eagles basketball team (14-12) will take on the Bob Jones University Bruins (6-21) at 7:30 p.m., seeking their fifth consecutive victory. The game, which has been declared a "Blue Out," will also be streamed online at PCCI.edu.

Immediately before the game, the Lady Eagles will take on BJU, looking to extend their single season win record. The ladies' game starts at 5:30 p.m. CT.

Students planning on attending the games are encouraged to wear blue to support the men's team in their final home game of the 2012-2013 season. Next week, the Eagles will travel to Alabama to take on Concordia College to close out the regular season.

If the Eagles make the playoffs, their first match is expected to be played on Monday, March 4. The details of their pending playoff appearance (time, location, and opponent) are still being established.

Earlier in the season (Jan. 18), the Eagles defeated the Bruins 84-48 on the road. Pensacola won their last home game by a score of 110-62.
