Lady Eagles Break School Record for Single Season Wins

Last Monday, the Pensacola Christian College Lady Eagles basketball team fell to Southeastern University 67-41 in the NCCAA South Region Playoffs, ending their season with a 14-14 record.

Although their season ended with a loss, the Lady Eagles made great strides in 2013—their fourteen wins represented the highest win total the ladies have ever earned in a single season.

Since PCC added a ladies basketball team back in 2008, the Lady Eagles had totaled only 21 total wins (21-80) going into the 2012-2013 season.  The team improved their win total to 7 games last season before doubling that this year, earning 14 victories and their first playoff berth in school history.

The Lady Eagles are on the rise under coach Jared Sellars, who will look to increase the Eagles' win total for a third consecutive season next fall.
