Breathing to death
I sat studying in a coffee shop off campus the other day. Every time customers came in, the worker had a conversation with them like this: "How are you?"
"Good, how are you?"
"Still breathing."
Four-and-a-half hours I studied there. I listened to him say it till I was cringing every time the door opened. "Still breathing?" But it made me think--what was my approach to four-and-a-half hours of living? Here's what the Bible tells us: "In Him we live and move and have our being. . ." (Acts 17:28).
Let us fix our eyes on the One worth living for and tackle today with a godly passion!
