Don’t Lose the Fire!
It was easy to glide out of an amazing few days of Bible Conference on that Friday night being challenged by the powerful, convicting messages and being determined to strengthen your relationship with Christ.
Then April rolled around. Maybe the morning alarms are going off a little bit earlier, and you are not ready to wake up. You spill your coffee. You fail a quiz. By the end of the day, all of these little things have taken time away from your time with Christ.
It can be difficult to make extra time for Christ between the hectic college-life schedule, but don’t forget the goals that you had. Christ deserves to have first place in your life. If you strengthen your relationship with Him, He will give you the strength to get through your busy last weeks of school (plus with a better attitude!).
One principle that I have started to implement in my life is that I will not text anyone until I have spent time with God. I am not a morning person, but this has helped me greatly to reconstruct my priorities.
Don’t lose that fire that you had after listening to the incredible messages of Dr. Tewell, Dr. Barber, and Dr. Redlin!
