Going Home
Going home--now that's a nice thought to have while being at college. I never thought that I could get the opportunity to do that while a student, but I got to go one weekend last semester.
It was so nice boarding that plane knowing that in a few hours I would be walking in the front door of my house. My cousins were visiting as well while I was home, so that was a nice surprise! We got to go hiking, go out to eat, and do lots of other fun stuff. After a few days it was time to fly back, but I came back refreshed and ready to hit the books again with more energy.
If the semester ever gets hard, just take a break. Take those few days off and go home and relax. I live all the way in Oregon so it was a pretty long flight home, but it was all worth it!
