Happy Birthday!

I almost never walk by The Palms Grille or through the Commons without seeing a group of friends gathered around a table with a cake and brightly colored balloons. Many PCC students go out of the way to make their friends’ birthdays special with balloons, cake and ice cream, and small, thoughtful gifts.

On my birthday last month, a friend treated me to a delicious dinner in The Palms Grille. (Side note: the macaroni and cheese bites are to die for!) Another friend surprised me with a birthday card, and when I returned to my residence hall, I found my favorite drink and snacks on my bed with a birthday card from my roommates.

PCC is a place to build friendships that will last a lifetime. Celebrating birthdays is fun, but the spirit of friendship is even better than chocolate cake!
