The Little Things

Flowers. We associate them with a date to Fine Arts and dissection in Biology class, but have you ever stopped to look at the flowers planted all around campus?

By the residence halls, the Campanile, the median islands, the Commons—flowers are everywhere. Though many of us don't really stop to admire them, think of it this way: flowers are a quiet, colorful testimony of God's creation.

Our grounds workers tend to them and keep them bright and healthy for us to look at.  Even in the cold winter months, when we usually don't expect to see bright flowers, the grounds workers still splash our campus in color.

From lilies to pansies, no two flower patches are the same, testifying to the beautiful variety God has made.

So the next time you see the flowers, just remember why they're here and remember the beauty of God's creation.
