How do I explain my own major? I guess with classes first. Being a CJ major is pretty much the most awesome experience I've ever had. I mean, what other major lets you examine a crime scene that your classmates have set up? CJ majors get really creative putting together crime scenes and making them as realistic as possible.
You know how we were always told as kids that someday we would learn to love all the gross stuff we had to eat--like mushrooms and steamed spinach? I still don't. So glad to have finally debunked that myth.
It is true, though, that we limit ourselves by never trying new things. Like shortcuts, Microsoft Excel, Crocs, and--my personal favorite--Nutella. We often don't ever get to enjoy things, simply because we just never bother to try them!
