Crazy Countdown 000: Teamwork

There are 150 days until April 16, 2018. That’s a lot of time, isn’t it?

Not really! Why? There are only 150 days until you, the fantastic student body and College Days guests, will have the chance to experience the Software Expo, a showcase of design projects completed by the senior Computer Science and Software Engineering majors. The Software Expo is a three-day event spread over one week that serves as the capstone to the Computer Science and Software Engineering major. We spend two semesters developing software in the hopes that you, the target market, will be impressed by our work and would want to really use it.

Last month, we started with training—okay not like with weights or anything because we’re geeks and weights are scary. However, we completed a two-week training project to give us a crash course in planning a project. We had to come up with a product idea, generate requirements, plan a timeline, investigate usage scenarios, and develop a non-functional prototype to pitch to our "clients," all in two weeks. I know, it's even crazier actually doing it! The intended result will be to produce a fit, fierce, fighting force that will knock your socks off in 150 days. I hope to see you all there!
