Will You Stand?
Recently, I attended (and was a part of) the 2017 History Seminar here on campus. How was I involved, do you ask? Well, after Dr. Reese presented the fascinating life story of Martin Luther, I was part of a choir that sang "A Mighty Fortress is Our God" to conclude the seminar. I've got to say, it was a lot of fun!
I really enjoyed the seminar. It wasn't just historic facts; it was a story. The story of a normal man who decided to stand on God's Word and refused to compromise. What was the result of Martin Luther's stance? A revival that has brought millions of souls to Christ and changed the world forever. And it all started with one man choosing to obey God rather than men.
Like Martin Luther, we also live in a society which has rejected the truth of God's Word. And like him, we too are being called by God to stand for what we believe in. When Martin Luther heard the call, he obeyed! How about you? Are you going to answer the call? Who knows what God has in store for you if you do!
