College Life

Merry Christmas Y’all!

Wow, that semester flew by.

So how many of you are ready to go home?  I know I am.  The end of the semester is here and you have finally finished.  You’ve written another page in the story—the story of you.  Congratulations!  It’s time to turn the page from “Fall 2011,” adding another chapter in your life--and I hope it was a great chapter.

But before we turn ahead to “Spring 2012” we get a much-needed vacation.  I know my vacation will be filled with family, friends, and some of mom’s homemade cooking.  I can’t wait.  (And neither can my stomach.)  But I digest. . . I mean digress. . .

I know a lot of you will be going home to jobs this winter and you’ll be hard at work during your vacation.  My break won’t be much of a vacation since I start work the Monday that we get back, but that’s okay.  God has afforded me an amazing opportunity to work in downtown Washington D.C.

I will try to put up a few posts over the break to keep you guys in the loop.  For those of you who are interested in internships in Washington D.C., I hope the posts can be an insight to you.  It is a city filled with amazing opportunity.

With that said, I wanted to thank you all for the incredible semester.  It’s truly been an adventure, and I am glad I have had the opportunity to write on the blog this year.  I hope to continue writing over the break and next semester, but if not, I hope my writings have been a help and encouragement to you this year.

Alas, I should probably go study for my finals now . . . and start cleaning for white glove.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

Press on!
